PA CARLISLE — Carlisle advances $2.5M infrastructure spending with school expansion approval. Borough Council unanimously approved $795,880 for the 2026 Water Main Replacement Project (DSW Services, LLC) and additional contracts totaling nearly $1.7 million for wastewater treatment, stormwater, and equipment projects on a 7-0 vote. The council also unanimously approved the Carlisle Area School District's Middle School land development plan with ordinance waivers, pending a developer's agreement.
Superintendent Dr. Colleen Friend outlined tight timelines for school closures and conversions to coincide with project completion.
