Carlisle Council approves Thornwald Park improvements, multiple contracts

PA CARLISLE — Carlisle Borough Council votes unanimously to approve major Thornwald Park improvements and infrastructure upgrades. The seven-member council authorized two engineering contracts with GFT, Inc., totaling $82,300 for amphitheater improvements and green stormwater infrastructure identified in the Borough's Stormwater Master Plan. Mayor Shultz was authorized to sign a $25,000 grant from the Cumberland County Land Partnerships Grant Program for comprehensive park planning.

Council approved contracts for ParkMobile payment processing and line painting services, appointed Carolyn Kleiner to the Civil Service Commission, and consolidated summer meeting schedules to monthly sessions.
