Carlisle Council reorganizes, elects Perry as Deputy Mayor

PA CARLISLE — Carlisle Borough Council unanimously elects Safronia Perry as Deputy Mayor in annual reorganization. In its biennial organization meeting, the council voted unanimously to elect Perry and approve 10 administrative appointments. Highlighted appointments included Susan Armstrong as Borough Manager, Jason Cohen as Treasurer and Tax Collector, and Patricia Blair as Borough Secretary.
Council also voted 7-0 to establish regular business meetings at 6:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month and to recognize June 19, 2026, as a Borough-observed holiday for non-uniformed personnel.
