Council approves $536,000 in capital projects

PA CARLISLE — Carlisle Council approves $536K in capital projects. All seven council members unanimously backed more than $536,000 in capital construction contracts including a $358,595 paving project for local roads and $144,339 curb and ADA pedestrian ramp rehabilitation. Mayor Sean Shultz moved to indefinitely remove a proposed $45,750 Flock OS surveillance system agreement after raising cost-benefit concerns.
The council also reaffirmed a $150,000 state grant for sewer system repairs, approved a $33,850 water treatment equipment upgrade, and accepted termination of a CDBG administration agreement with Cumberland County Redevelopment Authority, authorizing a replacement contract with Mullin & Lonergan Associates for program support through 2028.
