PA CARLISLE — The Carlisle Historical and Architectural Review Board approved a retroactive sign certificate and planned educational outreach. Members unanimously approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for a sign at 21 South Hanover Street from applicant Christopher Powers, absent, while tabling a request from Antone Araman for a shed at 55 East Pomfret Street pending additional information. By consensus, the board tasked member Martin Siefering with drafting an article for Borough publications addressing misconceptions about HARB requirements from the 1980s and 1990s, while SCEP Director Jared Woolston indicated he would present potential process reforms to the Land Use Reform subcommittee regarding staff authority over routine maintenance requests.
