HARB reappoints Easterly chair, approves two certificates

PA CARLISLE — The HARB unanimously reappoints Easterly as chair and approves two property certificates. The Historical and Architectural Review Board reappointed Thomas Easterly as Chair and Ed Hazel as Vice Chair for 2026. The Board also approved Certificates of Appropriateness for Rebecca Smith's property at 21 North East Street to enclose a porch and construct a deck, and for Ned Khan's property at 159-161 South Pitt Street to replace and repair existing soffit.

Jared Woolston, SCEP Director, noted Khan's demonstrated willingness to cooperate with the Board despite his absence due to illness, with Staff confident the work meets all applicable requirements.
