AGENDASMINUTES learn more · Meeting of June 4, 2026

PA CARLISLE — Carlisle Parks Board discusses comprehensive recreation plan update and Mooreland school construction impacts. Director Andrea Crouse reported that EvolveEA, the consultant for the Comprehensive Recreation, Parks, and Open Space Plan, has scheduled public engagement for June 27 at the Summerfair Craft Fair and Memorial Park Juneteenth Block Party. The Borough Council has approved two facility improvements: replacement of 16 ADA-accessible picnic tables at LeTort Park funded by a Community Development Block Grant, and a preliminary design study for accessibility and stormwater work at Thornwald Park amphitheater.

The Board discussed impacts from planned school construction at Mooreland Elementary School, which will reduce the size of the Borough's leased athletic field.
