PA CARLISLE — Planning Commission delays 2026 reorganization, tables Dickinson College museum plan. With two members absent, Vice Chair Lee Winton and the attending commissioners postponed elections of chair and vice chair until February 26. The commission unanimously tabled Dickinson College's Preliminary/Final Land Development Plan for the Jim Thorpe Center, a 17,960-square-foot museum for the college's Center for Futures of Native Peoples at 212-240 West High Street, to allow the applicant to address parking analysis concerns and Americans with Disabilities Act compliance issues flagged by staff and commission members.
The applicant committed to submitting a revised parking analysis before the February meeting.
